Skidmore’s Leather Cream is an all purpose leather care product which cleans, conditions, and protects all types of leather. Regular use will build a degree of waterproofing on the leather. Use on saddles, tack, chaps, shoes & boots, purses, motorcycle leathers, saddlebags, car upholstery, and leather furniture. Our Leather Cream brings dry, curled, cracked leather back to life and protects all leather from the harsh effects of the environment…sun, wind, dryness, and moisture. Skidmore’s Waterproofing goes one step further than our Leather Cream. Almost pure beeswax, it’s for leather that really gets wet. Our Waterproofing goes on smoothly, penetrating leather and leaving a waterproof seal on the surface. Use the Waterproofing for boots, shoes, and other leather gear that will be exposed to lots of wetness.

We are the manufacturers of the” H.S. Trask Buffalo Butter” which was available at Nordstrom’s, Dillard’s, and a variety of independent shoe stores.   This was a private label deal originally initiated by Mr. Harrison Trask himself.  Although currently unavailable under the “H.S. Buffalo Butter” label, it is exactly the same product as our “Skidmore’s Leather Cream” which you can get it directly from us or from one of our dealers.
